Hot dip galvanizing, a subdivision of metal surface treatment and heat treatment processing, occupies a pivotal position in the metal industry, with a market share of approximately 17% of the entire industry. According to publicly available data, the sales revenue of China's metal surface treatment and heat treatment industry reached 240.871 billion yuan in 2017. Based on this calculation, the sales revenue of the hot-dip galvanizing industry in 2017 was approximately 40.948 billion yuan. Although it decreased by 8.8% compared to 2016, its market size should not be underestimated.
